My Lifters
First time used today for squats and deads. Very comfortable and I like the wide toe box just like my Pendalys DoWins which I retired after 13yrs of use for these . A bit pricey but must of the shoes out there are. They do run small had to return size 8/1/2 for 9 fit perfectly. Currently no cons will update as I use them .

Excellent Weightlifting Shoe for us wide feeters
Excellent weightlifting shoe. I am an Olympic weightlifter, and use these for Clean and Jerk, Snatch, Squats, Pulls, OHP, etc... All the normal oly stuff, and they have been excellent on all fronts, and have shown zero wear and tear so far after 1 month of use (5x/week). They are extremely comfortable, and stable. For sizing, you will want to size up half a size. I am in between a mens 9 and 9.5 depending on the brand, and I went with 9.5 to be safe. It was still a bit tight with my normal socks (which are thicker), but after switching to thinner socks, they fit perfectly.

Not durable
I am a casual weightlifter. These had been purchased in November, the bottom is already peeling off the shoes after 3 months.

Great shoe
Great shoe, been a barefoot lifter for years and these are amazing! Feel great with the wide toe box, much easier squatting on the knees highly recommend. Straps work great, sole is hard with no bounce, mid sole is flexible if you’re into Olympic lifts.

TYR TL-1 6mo Review
This lifter has me wishing that really good lifters like my old Romaleo 2s had a wide toe box. I’m extremely happy with the comfort, but the construction leaves a lot to be desired as they have already begun falling apart. They are lightweight ie not tanks and the heel is already starting to peel off (3x week training for 3mo), so I’m expecting to replace them every year or so. If you’re lifting more than 3x/wk I’d say you’ll have to replace sooner. With that factored in I’d say these are well overpriced much like every new lifter I’ve tried (Rom 4, Velassa, Reebok, and Adipowers). That being said I’m recommending them to all of my lifters because they function better than those other cheaply built and expensive new lifters in the market. I suppose we all have to forget how good Rom 2s are constructed and the quality of materials that were used in that shoe are superior to anything we will ever get again. Not worth the money, but better than the rest.
