Spud Inc. Traveling Farmer Walk Handles

Spud Inc. Traveling Farmer Walk Handles offer a simple, budget-priced alternative to full-scale, barbell-style farmer’s walk implements. The uniquely portable set includes a pair of 8' long nylon straps and two rubber-coated, steel-core handles measuring 1.5” in diameter. For set-up, simply adjust the buckle to a desired length, slide the strap-loop through the center of a plate (45LB, 100LB, whatever your preference), and pull the handle up through the loop. Repeat the process with the second strap, and you've got a functional farmer’s walk tool that fits in a gym bag and works great for use among multiple athletes.

Each strap on the Traveling Farmer Walk Handles is long enough and durable enough to allow 300+ pounds of steel plates to be loaded.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for so many uses! No only have these been great in my home gym for farmer carries and body-weight rows off the rack....I actually used them to move 18 stall mats out of a basement when we needed to move houses. Using the straps to hold the mats in a roll and make them so easy to carry! LOVE these things...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not practical It is hard to balance the weights even if they're not heavy. It takes too much time to set up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Has it’s limitations. We’ll start with the positives: For the price, if you don’t intend on loading more that 90lbs or 100kg per handle, these are a very useful and economical solution to bigger and bulkier Farmer’s Handles. They fit in your gym bag. They seem durable. If you are doing light weight for distance, they are great. The grip is good and they are strong enough to handle competitive weight. Now for the negatives: Once you load 135lbs or more setting these up for a neutral grip as Farmer’s walks are intended, the weight starts to pitch inward towards your legs and will hit you, throwing off your rhythm. Yes, overhand grip or a supinated grip set up would fix this, but I train them neutral how it would be done in competition. I attached a photo of this issue. They can be cumbersome to load, unload, and adjust height if working out with a partner that has different weight requirements than you. In addition, if using Iron plates like I do, the difference in plate diameter makes loading and unloading a pain, especially when trying to balance 4-5 plates per strap. Overall: I would recommend if you don’t plan on exceeding 90lbs / 100kg per handle. If you plan or training heavy or for competition, I cannot recommend. Spend more money on a real set of Farmer’s Handles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value These are a very good cost effective option for farmer's carry. Have tried them up to 70lbs in each hand (a 45 + 25). Could probably do 90 (2 45's) before it got too awkward..
