SP3358 Plate Storage Pair – Monster Lite

Efficient, space-saving, and money-saving—Rogue’s SP3358 Plate Storage Pair bolts conveniently to your existing Monster Lite rig, adding more than 180 pounds of additional storage capacity on each 13” pin.

The SP3358 Plate Storage Pair comes with the necessary ⅝” hardware, allowing for easy setup in a matter of minutes. And for a training center or garage gym with limited square footage, it’s an excellent alternative to purchasing a separate stand-alone plate storage shelf.

While the SP3358 pins are intended for use with the Monster Lite Rigs & Racks only, owners of an Infinity rig can order their own separate version of these storage posts with the appropriate hardware included.

Please Note: The SP3358 is NOT compatible with the SML-1, S-1, or S-4 Squat Stands.

Weak finish
The finish is very week the chipped off the first day I got it and has been progressively getting worse. The idea and the product work good but the finish does not hold up and it chips up the insides of the plates to

Do the job but could be so much better
As others have said, Rogue products are good, but now I’ve had them for a while and look at competitor brands the comments below stand out and irk for such expensive Rogue products. Plate storage works but in a restrictive way. The location of these storage pins means they are constantly in the way and restricts what you do in the rig unless you remove all the plates. Why have black powder coat finish on constantly used storage bars – surely a stainless or chrome finish would stop the wear of the plate storage bars and protect the plates also? Finally, with all Rogue items, large hex bolts are used and are exposed which cause damage to the plates you store on these pins as they rub against the exposed bolts. I’ve had to purchase additional thick rubber washers to prevent the damage that is again a standard option on most competitor products.

Follow up: Chrome finish would be much better
Photos I wasn’t able to add to my review last week. Several years of unracking and re-racking plates.

Chrome finish would be much better
I bought three pairs of these and have been using them since April 2018. Here are a few observations: Pros - solid, have had up to four 25kg plates on them; easy to install; save space Cons - the black powdercoat finish wears off, which isn't ideal for plates/bars. Why not just use the same finish that most barbell sleeves are made of?

They hold weight great but get In the way
Bought 4 of these for my r-3 rack, they hold the plates perfect bur I end up having to remove all the plates if I want to do rack pulls or hip thrusts in the cage
