Monster Lite Spotter Arms

Compatible with all Monster Lite racks, Rogue’s heavy-duty 24” Safety Spotter Arms are designed to protect both the weightlifter and the bar itself.

When adding spotter arms to an existing rack, dependability is always the optimum word-- particularly for athletes training alone in a home gym or garage gym . This is why Rogue manufactures its Monster Lite Spotter Arms from 3x3” 11-gauge steel tubing, with welded-on end-plates for additional safety and specially designed hitch-pins to lock the spotters in place.  The arms feature a UHMW plastic insert on top to protect  the knurling of your bars.

Like all products in the Monster Lite line, these spotters feature 5/8” holes and a 5/8” pin, rather than the 1” varieties of the standard Monster Spotter Arms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the wait This equipment is top-notch and is definitely worth the wait. I would recommend Rogue equipment to anybody who is serious about building a home gym. Able to do everything I did. at the gym, but only at home now. I can work out in comfort knowing that this equipment is strong enough to handle all my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great accessory Nice to have when I’m working out alone and don’t have a spotter. Also useful in the low position when adding plates for deadlifts and leg workouts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable and tough!! I’m one of those guys that really abused gym equipment. These can take the abuse! Whether it be 400lbs or more on shrugs, a failed squat catch or using as standing OHP safeties, these arms hold up and do not bend or break. No damage to the bar either. Absolutely purchase these for safety and durability.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid, like everything Rogue Like so many others, I made the decision to outfit myself with a home gym, in the expectation that even if and when the gyms re-opened in the age of COVID-19, I wouldn't be going back for a great while longer. These arms are, to me, an absolutely necessary accompaniment to any Monster Lite rack - in my case, a squat stand, but still used for bench work and other long bar exercises in the absence of a human spottter, and so for which spotter arms are kind of mandatory for safety reasons. They are, like all Rogue equipment, solidly made, with most everything well thought out, right down to the upper surfaces coated to protect the knurling on a bar. Unlike a lot of Rogue gear, however, I do have a few complaints about these: 1: As noted above, they really should be included with the rack, or at least with certain racks that don't otherwise have such safety features built in. 2: Total OCD nitpick here, but they aren't provided in "left" and "right" versions, so the "Rogue" branding faces in the same direction (to the left) in both cases. 3: The really serious complaint: the positioning of the pins on the arms is such that you cannot take advantage of the full range of locations that might otherwise be available on the Monster Lite rack, if you want to use the hitch pins as well. They stay put quite solidly with just the main pins, but it seems oddly inefficient to provide 30 billion anchor points on the rack and then design the arms with hitch pins that can only be used in a few of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never get pinned again! If you're working out alone these are a must-have. Often times you want to test your limits but don't have access to a spotter - this is the solution. Practicing safe bails should be one of the first steps when working on traditional bench press or squatting. Test the low point of your lift and set the arms accordingly... these have saved my life on a few occasions; so I can say they are very durable (working weight usually between 225-315#).
