SAML-24 Monster Lite Safety Spotter Arms (Pair)

Monster Lite Spotter Arms

Compatible with all Monster Lite racks, Rogue’s heavy-duty 24” Safety Spotter Arms are designed to protect both the weightlifter and the bar itself.

When adding spotter arms to an existing rack, dependability is always the optimum word-- particularly for athletes training alone in a home gym or garage gym . This is why Rogue manufactures its Monster Lite Spotter Arms from 3x3” 11-gauge steel tubing, with welded-on end-plates for additional safety and specially designed hitch-pins to lock the spotters in place.  The arms feature a UHMW plastic insert on top to protect  the knurling of your bars.

Like all products in the Monster Lite line, these spotters feature 5/8” holes and a 5/8” pin, rather than the 1” varieties of the standard Monster Spotter Arms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't bench without these!!! I ordered these for my SML-2 when I bench. I usually have a spotter at the gym, but post COVID, I was going at it alone. While it gets tedious to move them from when I bench from flat to decline to incline, these are lifesavers. I've had them for a little over a month. This past Sunday, decided to add a plate to my flat bench and after a few reps, I just gave out. If the spotter arms hadn't been there, it may have ended differently, as I was home alone. They are immovable, and totally worth the cost.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great feature I’m happy with them but they seem to be bending and I’m not sure why

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Save your kneck If you train alone, get it. I struggled with the realative price of the upgrade, but so glad I pulled the trigger. Can bench press at home by myself without saying my prayers first. Like all Rogue racks it beautifully overbuilt. Barbell nurling does imprint on the plastic but it's all in good use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong and very sturdy I bought this a month ago as Covid 19 put a stop to any gym being open and I cannot be more happier I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these things I bought these to use on my SML-2C squat rack. They are very sturdy and install quickly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does exactly what it says These were out of stock when I bought my rack but I ordered them as soon as they became available. They're sturdy enough to stand up to pin squats. I don't know whether a badly failed squat would have as positive a result. I have yet to find out. Otherwise they operate exactly as intended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life savers (literally) I bought these in March and I have used them for rack pulls and benching. Great addition to have if you lift solo. Just keep in mind that you’ll have to adjust the heights accordingly so you don’t accidentally hit them while squatting/benching

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, well built, and easy to adjust safeties Purchased so that we could work out without a spotter. Maxed out on the squat and the safeties took the weight no problem. Did a max test on the bench press and they are in the small hole spacing range for accurate adjustment. Don't have to worry about hurting myself or getting trapped under the bar while lifting alone. My only wish is that they could go down lower, doing the floor press and the bottom part of the safety front plate hits the flanges on either side of the squat rack.
