Rogue TB-2 Trap Bar

With the TB-2, we've completely overhauled the original Rogue Trap Bar with a more versatile dual-handle design, SCH 80 pipe Olympic sleeves, and a 25% reduction in weight.

The TB-2 Trap Bar is manufactured in the USA and features a durable hexagonal frame welded from 1.5” square steel tubing. Both sets of knurled, parallel handles measure 1.34” in diameter and are spaced 25” on center. During a workout, an athlete can easily switch from one set of handles to the other simply by flipping the bar over. This makes the TB-2 advantageous for strengthening the lockout, overloading on shrugs, and/or limiting shoulder stress during bench presses. It also enables beginners or rehabbing athletes to focus on their range of motion or gradually develop a deadlift program without putting as much pressure on the lower back.

PLEASE NOTE: Because the TB-2 Trap Bar is finished in our Rogue signature black powder coat, any metal-to-metal contact with the coated sleeves (such as adding and/or removing plates) may cause wear on the finish over time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s Perfect! I’m recovering from a stroke and it does everything I need in the “deadlifts” & “rows”. Very pleased with the purchase and quality. This is a “monster” bar!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beasty Bar My old trap bar was limited to 425 pounds if I bungeed the weights together and used a little...duct tape. To finally have a bar with 15” long sleeves for any weights I will use on it. Quality is as always great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good bar but a drawback the high handle is way too high, make the lift easier than it should be To get a optimal height, I have to either do block pulls with low handle or do deficit pulls with high handle

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall I'm happy with this bar. I am happy with this purchase, I would have liked this to be rackable, but it would have probably to small inside. I am 6'3 270lb. Knurling is consistent and not too harsh. The powder coating on the sleeves is seems more durable then other bars I have bought from rogue, years ago. It seems like they've come along way in that regard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rogue TB-2 The TB is well built heavy duty construction. This TB is better than other TB I have researched on the market and it will last a very long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great, solid build Rogue product I got my Rogue TB-2 today. I bought it in order to be able to start doing dead lifts and bend over rows again, all while saving my lower back following several lumbar spine injuries this year. Overall I am very happy with the bar. Quality is great, as one has come to expect from Rogue and the knurling is just right for my taste. The only complaint is the fact that the sleeve is slightly narrower than a standard Olympic bar sleeve. Hence, neither my OSO Barbell Collar nor the OSO Polymer Collars I ordered with the bar will work. Of course Rogue clearly stated that issue, but I was ignorant of the fact that there is a difference between OSO Barbell Collars and OSO Axle Collars. My fault. I guess I just have to either figure out how to make it work with what I have or possible order a pair of Axle Collars in the future.
