Manufactured in Columbus, Ohio, from ultra-durable 500D and 1000D Cordura, the Strongman Throw Bag is a beast designed to be used by beasts. Each bag measures 12" in diameter and 13" in length, and features a 10" long x 1-0.375" diameter rubber handle, reinforced with three pieces of 1.5" wide nylon webbing to support the weight of the bag. This nylon webbing then flows through the unique criss-cross pattern of MIL spec webbing on each end of the bag. The Rogue logo is included, in white, on both exterior faces. Please Note: As with all sandbags, Rogue Strongman Throw Bags should be inspected prior to each use to ensure optimal safety and performance.

Our funnel-filler technology is compatible with most standard types of fill material (sand, crumb rubber, lead shot, etc.) and allows each athlete to quickly and easily customize the Throw Bag to their own preferences and training level. The zipper sits on the top of the bag just below the handle, and the funnel filler is contained within that zipper. This ensures steady containment of the fill material while allowing for precision weight adjustments by the smallest of increments (max weight capacity, with sand = 75LB). As a filler option, customers can have a 55LB supply of crumb rubber included with their order at an additional cost.

The Rogue Strongman Throw Bags have been battle tested by the greatest strength athletes in the world during the Arnold Classic’s “Bag Over Bar” event. You can adapt the same basic principles from that challenge into your own regimen by throwing the bag (at variable weight increments) over a standard 9’ or 12’ rig crossmember. Some gym owners also create a makeshift adjustable high-bar up to 15' by using some rope and a piece of PVC pipe and hanging it from the rafters.
