Rogue SR-1L Long Handle Bearing Speed Rope

Double Under Problem Solved

The tapered, Long Handle version of our SR-1 Bearing Speed Rope increases the user’s wingspan with nearly an inch of additional length from the base to the eyelet. The rotating handgrips are made from an indestructible nylon resin and have the same 7/8” (22mm) diameter as the standard SR-1 rope.

Like the rest of the Rogue SR jump ropes, the SR-1L is capable of unbeatable speed. Its bearing system allows for top-end revolutions, and the coated cable adds velocity and durability. It's built to last. The only thing that will break are your PRs.

Specifications:

  • Bearings: (4) Hi-Precision Cartridge Ball Bearings per rope
  • 11' cables are available for taller athletes here.
  • Tapered Handle: 7.5” long (base of handgrip to rope eyelet), 0.58” diameter at base

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just came today I was super excited rope came in mail today. Well busted it open went out to try it out and of course set screw wasn’t on tight. Got 2 or 3 jumps in before rope flew apart and set screw and end cap disappeared. Those couple jumps make me think rope will be good but who knows now gotta wait and order some set screws.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Handles are great, rope is not. I was impressed with the bearing handles. They were smooth, light and easy on my wrists while doing double unders. The mechanism to shorten the rope was not great. The screw kept loosening mid-workout and I had to stop and re-tighten after every set of double unders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How to Get Double-Unders I was having difficulty learning double-unders using random ropes at my box. My coach recommended that a good rope is a worthwhile investment and suggested the Rogue Long Handle Speed Rope. I was able to adjust the rope to my size, and have come a long way in my double-under proficiency. I think I am at about half double-unders/half singles. The rope turns effortlessly and allows me to get the speed I need to do the doubles. The long handles give an extra advantage in making the quick turns. I would recommend this rope to anyone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long Handle speed rope I'd been working with the standard length handles for the last 2 years but I never developed a good "feel" for the rope. Occasionally I could get close to 50 du reps, but usually no more than 20. I've done a couple workouts now with the long handles and it definitely improved my "feel" so I'm not working so hard to spin the rope. I can consistently get around 30 du reps unbroken now. I know I still have a lot of work to do with doubleunders but these handles are putting me on the right track.
