Amazing stand.
I love this stand. I didn't want to fully splurge on my initial set up and this turned out to be a strong and sturdy option. Extremely versatile in terms of ML implements you can add to it (Matador Tricep Dip Bars, Plate Storage, Spotter arms), and if down the line you want a rack, you can buy the additional hardware to do that. Couldn't ask for more at this stage. Highly recommended.

Great overall stand with a few minor issues
Overall, I am pleased with the quality of this squat stand. I have not tried any other manufacturer, but so far impressed. Everyone online and on Rogue’s reviews has exceedingly high praises for their equipment and perhaps that set the bar a little bit too high for me. While it is an incredible stand, I must point out a few of the minor issues that prevented me from rating this a 5-star product.
The so-called black zinc hardware has a rather underwhelming finish on it. If you look at my pics, it seems like it was simply brushed onto the hardware. It was an incredible mess to work with and some parts of the hardware had obvious bare spots where the coating was either not applied at all or had completely worn off. While not a deal breaker, it was certainly disappointing. I really hope this is not how the blank zinc barbells are coated – it does not seem like they are because when I looked at pictures online, nobody had their hands covered in black residue after touching a black zinc barbell. Anyway, not trying to make a big deal about it, but just know that it is not those super black shiny bolts that are shown in the pictures. Either that or I received a set of incredibly flawed hardware. Even the directions handout was smudged with what I am assuming to be this faulty coating.
The rest of the metal pieces had good fit and finish unlike the back zinc hardware. It is a shame the hardware was not finished to the same degree, in my mind that is false advertising, but I digress. One other thing to point out is the two main feet that sit parallel to each other on the floor are not completely flat. Refer to my pic, but there are two circular plates welded onto the bottom and that is what makes physical contact with the floor. Not a complaint or anything, just pointing it out as it was not shown on Rogue’s website pictures or covered in the instructions. After thinking about it, it is actually a pretty good idea to prevent rocking on uneven floors.
After having used the stand for a month or so, I really like it. It is everything I hoped it would be and allows me to do every exercise I wanted to do. Especially since this has a pull-up bar, I am not sure there is any exercise that you cannot do on this stand that you could on a regular 4-post rack. If you are on the fence, get a 2-post stand over a 4-post rack, there is hardly any benefit to going with a full rack other than personal preference. When I think back to what my 24 hour fitness days (prior to them going bankrupt and closing the location I went to) all they had were two post setups where everyone came to squat and deadlift. There was only one dedicated 4-post rack in the entire gym, and it was not used that often. And lastly, while the pullup bar is great, the finish is a very rough texture that I am not liking at all. It is not a smooth cerakote, and it is not a knurl either, more like a sprayed truck bed liner type of material and it is just terrible and very harsh on your hands. I am on the pull up bar very often for pullups, ab workouts, dead hangs, etc and I am really starting to hate the finish. My suggestion would be to upgrade to a smooth cerakote bar and ditch the stock option.
In conclusion, the SML-2C squat stand is great but does have a few minor issues that prevents it from receiving the highest rating.

Excellent all around rack
This compact but versatile rack is exactly what I wanted. It’s sturdy and easy to switch from squats to bench to deadlifts and then a few pull-ups. Totally recommend this!

Best multi use stand
Overall, I am super happy with this stand. It's durable, easy to put together, and has multiple uses besides the standard squat rack. It fits perfectly in my garage as a mini gym and It's quality and color gets a lot of questions and awes from everyone from my street. If you need a great squat rack, this is the one for you. Quit delaying and buy it already!
