The Rogue S-4 2.0 sets a new standard for independent squat stands, combining the strength and stability of two 7-gauge steel H-bases with the efficiency of a new bolt-together, triangle-plate design. Each unit includes a pair of 72” Infinity uprights with hole spacing in the Westside pattern through the bench zone—so users can specifically set up the included J-cups at 1” increments.

Indy squat racks are often preferred by Olympic lifters for their small footprint and low profile design. True to form, the new S-4 Stand takes up very little room on a platform (each base has just a 26” x 22” footprint) and can easily be moved by one person.

As another new edition with Version 2.0, the bases of the S-4 are now equipped with rubber feet to protect flooring and improve the unit’s overall stability. In the testing phase, the S-4 easily took on 500LB squats and 300LB+ jerks with no issues.

Here’s how August Schmidt, a decorated weightlifting coach and CrossFit competitor, summed up the S-4: "Rock solid, which is unusual for indys. They are the most stable indy stands I've ever seen."

Rogue S-4 Squat Stand 2.0 is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great and convenient piece of equipment Received this squat rack in good condition. Sturdy as can be, a little heavy to move but that's expected if it is to have a 1000lb capacity. It works well for me space wise as I use it in my bedroom and store it there as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So glad I bought this instead of a bigger rack I was looking to purchase a solid, no frills squat rack for my one bedroom apartment. I hesitated purchasing this rack due to reviews stating that the H shaped base stands were too close to effectively walk out from. All I can say is, unless you are doing ridiculously wide squats and have no interest in walking the bar away from the rack, this is definitely not an issue. There's 24 inches of space between the two H stands. Unless somehow your walking stride is greater than 24 inches wide, you won't even think twice about walking heavy squats in and out of the rack. These stands are built like tanks. Moving them is almost a workout in and of itself because of how heavy they are. They don't move or give when racking the bar, yet can be moved and stored easily when need be on days that you don't plan on using the rack for your workout. The tiny footprint is AWESOME for small spaces. Of note, even though most, if not all, of the infinity rack accessories are technically compatible with this rack, Rogue does not recommend them for use. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase, and would highly recommend this rack for people who have space constraints.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Awkward Spacing Between Stands Otherwise Fine I am happy with the squat stands except for the fact that when the weight gets heavy on squats it starts to be unpleasant/unfeasible to do the weird walk out that the stands require due to the way the stand bases are shaped. If you don't care about powerlifting and 1 rep maxes, these stands are great. If you do care about powerlifting and have the space, you should buy one of the racks that support spotter arms and dont have the awkward spacing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Compromise for the Space-Constrained I bought these a couple weeks ago and they are awesome. I really would have preferred a full stand or rack, but our townhouse has a tiny driveway and 1-car garage which means that we needed to be able to park one of the two cars in the same room as the gym. As a renter, we are not supposed to bolt into the walls, so that led us to the S-4. I am not the strongest guy out there but these things are rock solid. I added Single Plate Storage attachments to each side and these things may as well be bolted down. The only downside is that they are technically not recommended for the Matador or Safety Spotter Arms, which makes total sense, but is nonetheless a bummer. If you are in a space-constrained environment in your home I would 100% recommend the S-4 to suit your needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Astonishingly Sturdy I had expected these to come with a fair share of instability, but I was happily proved wrong. It's like they're nailed to the wall. It's quite nice to have the option to work either inside or out, but not take up too much space inside one's garage. I can see these being a bit heavy to move around for some people, but they provide really thick rubber bottoms for each stand, so you can pivot them around pretty easily.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The feet are a bother The stand itself it great! I have been doing squats at around 130 kilos and I never worry about the stand strength in the least bit. It is also nice that they are individuals which is why I choose this particular stand. The problem is absolutely in the design of the feet. The base of the stand creates a sideways 'H', so if the stands are close together when you unrack, you have to step over them or inside of them. Kind of a nuisance when the weight is heavy. Even at full width allowable from a standard barbell the feet are still a bit in the way, enough so that you have to think about them. I would recommend a different rack, unless like me, you need one that you can easily move together to save space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from save space and very solid It will not flip over at any weight. I rack 500 pound with no problem. It may move a little when I rack but when against a wall it s rock solid. You can put it against the wall and still have enough room the set under the bar for back squat. (I m 5 foot 9) I had it for a year now and i would buy it again.
