The Rogue S-4 2.0 sets a new standard for independent squat stands, combining the strength and stability of two 7-gauge steel H-bases with the efficiency of a new bolt-together, triangle-plate design. Each unit includes a pair of 72” Infinity uprights with hole spacing in the Westside pattern through the bench zone—so users can specifically set up the included J-cups at 1” increments.

Indy squat racks are often preferred by Olympic lifters for their small footprint and low profile design. True to form, the new S-4 Stand takes up very little room on a platform (each base has just a 26” x 22” footprint) and can easily be moved by one person.

As another new edition with Version 2.0, the bases of the S-4 are now equipped with rubber feet to protect flooring and improve the unit’s overall stability. In the testing phase, the S-4 easily took on 500LB squats and 300LB+ jerks with no issues.

Here’s how August Schmidt, a decorated weightlifting coach and CrossFit competitor, summed up the S-4: "Rock solid, which is unusual for indys. They are the most stable indy stands I've ever seen."

Awesome stability
Had this for three months. Needed a rack in the garage but don’t have the room for a full rack or a one-piece squat stand. Knew that typical 2-piece squat stands are wobbly at best and not useful for moderate to heavy squatting. This Rogue piece is rock solid construction and has awesome stability. Have it in my smallish two car garage and can fit the rack and two cars - it’s compact in size and has a small but very sturdy footprint. I’m using it for up to 300lbs (my limit, not the stand’s limit) and it feels as stable as being on a half rack. Moving it around isn’t that difficult but agree with others that some caster wheels would be a huge bonus. Wheels or no wheels - this is a terrific piece of equipment. Every time I buy a piece of rogue equipment I know that I’m getting the very best - this was no different.

Perfect for Small Space (Like a NYC Apartment)
During the pandemic I bought this rack, my first ever, and it has been my best purchase. The space I have is small, a maid's room in a classic six apartment for those NYC-ers, and it fits perfectly. Heavy yes, and sturdy. Use it for squats, bench presses, and it holds my bands for all types of exercises (I load the bottoms with my heaviest plates). Can't say enough about the quality of this item, Rogue is worth every penny.

Training Multiplier
I enjoy training outdoors. The Rogue S-4 Squat Stands serves that purpose. The squat stands are easy to move from my garage to my driveway giving me numerous training options.

Rock Solid!
This is exactly what I was looking for. These are incredibly sturdy considering that they aren't connected, I have no concerns loading them up with weight. They are also great for small spaces (such as a one-car garage) where a conventional rack wouldn't fit. You can pick them up and move them into a corner when you want to pull the car into the garage. Fair warning - they are about 50 pounds each. If you lift weights (which I would assume is the case if you are buying these) it will be easy enough to move them.

Excellent Stand for Apartment
I bought this squat stand due to the limited space I have in my apartment for winter, and to be able to take out on my patio during summer. When using J cups it is strong and stable enough, especially that I don't lift more than 165lbs. The transport around is a little bit of a challenge, as the H base makes difficult to step during moving the stand, but I found a simple solution that makes life easier for this: I installed the J cups in a reverse position, and used them as handles, then lift the stand and walk away with it, please see pictures attached. Highly recommended for limited spaces, storage and transport.

Second to none
We all know rogue equipment is pricey, but you truly get what you pay for. I’ve always like the concept of separate squat stand holders but everything on the market is cheap and unstable. When I got the box it was definitely sturdy it came in four boxes insulation was a breeze and started working out immediately. Yes they are heavy pieces individually but they are sturdy they do not move when you squat and bench press put the barbell back on it this is my second rogue product my first one was the Rogue Echo Bike. Honestly what I love the most about it is it really has a small footprint yes they’re tall but it is a squat stand But you can condense them move them and put them where you like
