Rogue RM-4 Monster Rack 2.0

Rogue designed the fully customizable power racks of the Monster Series to meet the high demands of the top professional, collegiate, and high school athletic facilities in the world. We used bigger, 3x3" 11-gauge steel tubing, over-sized 1" hardware, and a bolt-together design for easier portability and affordable shipping. With Version 2.0, we’ve also rolled out a number of new features, including a wide spectrum of custom color options, laser-cut pin position numbers on the uprights and bottom crossmembers, and a keyhole pattern on the sides of each upright—creating compatibility with more add-ons and attachments.

The 43" depth RM-4 Monster Rack is available in three height options (90”, 100”, 108”); comes with all required 1" hardware and 4 band pegs; and ships standard with (2) Rogue Monster 1.5" Wrenches. Any other attachments and accessories pictured are NOT included. You can explore many of our compatible Monster Rack attachments on this page and add selections to your order (at a listed additional cost) via the convenient dropdown menu.

Updates on Color Options: The new Monster Rack 2.0 units include a dozen different custom color coating options, most of them in a medium gloss powder coat (the Satin Clear finish is a transparent finish, meaning any blemishes or marks from the manufacturing process will still be visible in the steel).

Notes on Front Crossmember: While a front pull-up bar is the standard on this rack, some users elect to connect the front uprights with one of our 43" Monster Top Beams, instead. This 3x3" crossmember adds some extra stability and attachment versatility to the unit, and by moving the pull-up bar to the middle of the rack, it can allow for a few extra inches of height on pull-ups, as well.

Notes on Stainless Steel : Please be aware that these are raw steel parts and will have minor imperfections from laser cutting and welding.

Important: Unit must be bolted to floor unless stabilizer is added. Mounting Hardware Not Included

J-CUPS

Standard Monster J-Cup Pair

Our default J-Cup selection. Features UHMW plastic within the cup itself to protect the bar's knurling, as well on the backside and the clasp to protect uprights from scratching/chipping. 1000LB rating. Rackable Depth of 2 3/4"

Sandwich Monster J-Cup Pair

The Monster Sandwich J-cup has a UHMW plastic core which offers full protection against your barbell knurling. It also has UHMW plastic on the backside to protect the rack from chipping. 1000LB rating. Rackable Depth of 2 1/2"

2" Sandwich Monster J-Cup Pair

The side plates fit into a recessed, machined plastic core (2" wide) to prevent metal-to-metal contact. The hardware (that connects the plastic to the side plates) is also recessed, preventing the bar or a user’s hand from scraping against them. Welds are inside the side plates for a clean edge, and UHMW plastic is featured on the clasp and back plate to prevent damage to the uprights. A thin piece of rubber on the side of the clasp also softens contact between the clasp and upright when the J-Cup is swung into place. 1000LB rating. Rackable Depth of 2 1/2"

3" wide reinforced nylon straps designed to prevent damage to barbell knurling on any missed lift, or to roll the bar safely away from the user on a drop. Rated for 10,000LB. Rogue RM-4 Monster Rack 2.0 is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEAST MODE Phenomenal setup with a hard sweaty workout guaranteed in the garage. I'm 6'4'' 250 lbs and I have workout partners ranging from 165 lbs to my weight. Rack doesn't move with the weight and movement. Highly recommend if you're patient enough to arrive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely overbuilt and solid! I did a ton of research on racks and decided to go Rogue. I originally opted for the Monster Lite series, but none were available. This popped up one day, and I quickly placed in the cart and ordered it. By the end of the day, the RM-4 was out of stock again! This pandemic has created some crazy times. I was able to get the flip down safeties with it since I plan to get the trolley arms later. I laughed out loud when I started to take the parts out of the boxes. This rack is seriously overbuilt! Much better than any of the racks I have used at the gyms. The 1" bolts look like something to put battleships together! It didn't take me too long, but having a dedicated socket set would have made the job go much quicker. I got black and haven't noticed any imperfections with the paint. The holes and numbered uprights are finished very nicely with no burrs or sharp spots. I bolted mine to the platform I made, and added some weights to the sides. I got the matador dip bar for it shortly after and it doesn't move. It doesn't move when I do pull ups either. This is a lifetime rack that I know will provide me with many years of use. More weights, trolley arms, landmine attachment, and I won't have use to go back to my gym. Rogue is American Made. Need I say more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Power Rack After a Little Bit of Tweaking Pros: Consistent hole spacing, numbered Rigid (after bolting down to floor) Plenty of space for squats and bench press, but not too big. No sharp edges, inside and out. Thoughtful, quality construction. Packaged and shipped well on a very long pallet, complete. Strap safeties very easy/fast to adjust, convenient, and safe. Cons: After assembly, my rack was not square -- bottom narrower than top by 1.5 inches. This also caused the rack to not be plumb/level and to wobble because one leg was short. I squared up my rack by cutting two 2x4s at 43 inches long and using them as temporary bottom crossmembers to adjust the spacing to match the width of the top crossmembers. I held the 2x4 spacers in place with two winch straps, then marked/drilled holes to secure the rack in place. After bolting to the floor, the rack is square, plumb, and rigid like a brick wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quarantine workouts I bought several products from Rogue in the beginning of the pandemic. I wish I would have bought it sooner because the equipment is built extremely well and tough and most importantly easy to put together

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rogue RM-4 Monster Rack 2.0 Review Love it! Great quality and craftsmanship with excellent customer service. No need to go back to the gym once you get the RM-4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the buy! I didn’t feel like bolting my RM-4 to the ground. This definitely made my Rack more stable than it already was and if you are concerned that your bench will not sit back far enough. I have the Monster Flat Bench 2.0 and I haven’t had any issues with the bottom cross member getting in the way. No regrets. Good Buy!
