Needs a new Bowl
Ok so I read the reviews prior to buying. I knew exactly how to fix the issue of the "bowl" so went ahead with it.. The current bowl that Rogue use is clearly not up to Rogue quality standards. It's huge for no reason (wide) and weak in material. I wouldn't even use it for a salad it's that bad. So what I did is use one of my own kitchen bowl which was better and you can pretty much find anywhere, drilled 4 holes using the mount for marking and painted the exterior black like the paint used by Rogue and voila. Perfect size and look. May I add that the current bowl is way too wide and as seen in picture for comparison you will not be able rack a normal plate on the top sleeve, if you install the mount that way (which you should). My bowl is no more than 10" wide and 5" High which is ideal in my opinion. Hope this help. Buy it cause it's awesome but change the bowl is all.
Yes, I recommend this product

good but...
It's great that it attaches to the tree but I agree with the previous reviewer that the bowl is low quality which is inconsistent with the Rogue brand. A high quality bowl with a hinge attached lid so that the chalk doesn't dry out or blow away would be a better product.

Doesn't fit 'The Strip'
While the bracket is solidly built (the bowl is just a mixing bowl with 4 holes), it is probably the only Rogue accessory that bolts directly to the face it hangs from. This makes it incompatible with the wall-mount 'strip' since it has holes on the two sides perpendicular from to the wall. Every other accessory I've seen on this site has a 'clamp' style attachment where holes on a bracket accept a pin/bolt with the item being the in the middle (think a C shape). It's disappointing, since this bowl does extend 20 inches from the mount point and mounting it on a strip elsewhere in the garage was going to keep it out of the way. If you have the space around your rack to mount a 20" extension including a 12" round bowl in a way that doesn't impede movement, weight mounts, or pullups, it's a solid post and quite enough space for chalk.
