Rogue Monster Rhino Belt Squat - Drop-In
New Patented System - For Use with Rogue Monster & Fortis Power Racks

The drop-in version of the Rogue Monster Rhino Belt Squat (patent pending) is designed exclusively for use with our Monster Series Power Racks and Fortis Racks and offers athletes the ability to get many of the lower body training benefits of squats and other workouts without putting unnecessary stress on the shoulders or lower back (See Also: Free Standing Rhino and  Rhino + RM-3 Rack package)

This unit is manufactured in Columbus, Ohio, and features 3x3" arms and crossmembers, a 3x6" weight trolley tower, and a 0.25" braided cable for raising/lowering the weight trolley. When not in use, the trolley is stored on a 1" thick UHMW plastic hook, or “Rhino Horn.” A diamond-tread plate platform provides steady footing, adjustable handles offer overhand and neutral grip options, and our exclusive Rogue Multi Belt (included standard) easily accommodates most waist sizes, with adjustments from 41” to 61”. The entire Rhino unit (aside from the platform, handles and weight posts) is finished in our Medium Gloss Black powdercoat.

SET-UP:  Important -The Drop-In Monster Rhino Belt Squat can be used ONLY in conjunction with an existing Monster or Fortis Power Rack. The unit ships freight, with some assembly required, and it must be bolted to the floor before use. A pair of Monster 1” Wrenches are included, however additional tools will be required to finish assembly. When complete, the trolley tower will reach a height of 78.5" from the floor, and the unit will extend approx. 21.5" off the back face of the rack uprights closest to the tower. Additional clearance (beyond 21.5") is required for adding plates.

Using the Rhino Belt Squat: Step onto the platform and strap on the Rogue Multi Belt around your hips. Upon standing up, the trolley will rise and disengage from the Rhino Horn. This allows users to then pull back on the handles and start squatting. Once the handles are pulled back, they will stay back until the user pushes the handles back towards the tower, allowing the horn to safely re-engage the trolley.

Belt Squats provide traction to the spine, help add substantial volume to the legs, and offer versatility for other types of training, from calf raises to rows, shrugs, and deadlifts—all easily performed even in a home gym with limited space.

The handles on the Rhino are 1.25" in diameter and can be adjusted up or down for the user’s comfort. Great addition to my garage gym
I added the drop-in Rhino to my RM-6 rack 2 months ago and I couldn't be happier or more impressed with its performance. I have knee issues and traditional squats have been difficult, even with my Duffalo Bar. The Rhino belt squat takes enough pressure off of my knees that I can once again squat without significant knee pain. However, the real "value-add" with the Rhino has been the integration with the Surplus Strength UPS system, which I center-mounted like Coop. Now I have the ability to do plate-loaded exercises such as seated rows, a variety of lat pulldowns, tricep pushdowns, face pulls, and other similar exercises. Moving these exercises from bands to a plate-loaded format has been a real game changer for me.

Best piece of equipment
I love the drop in belt squat. I can do seated rows, lat pull downs and tricep extensions with the Spud Inc system. I have shoulder problems so I wasn't comfortable with a bar on my shoulders. The belt squat is awesome. I will be upgrading my pulley/cable system to the Surplus Strength UPS to keep the lat pull down bar away from the up rights.

Good Add
I added this to my Monster Rack. It has given me so many new exercises. We added the slinger to it for lat pull downs and rows. I would definitely recommend it. The versatility is worth ever penny.

More than a belt squat
The rhino offers a ton of versatility. If you add a couple a pieces you can do not only squats, but seated rows, lat pulldowns, weighted pull ups. I purchased the drop in version and put it in my RM3. I would recommend it!

Fantastic drop-in
We got this for my husband who had back surgery and needed a way to strengthen his legs without exposing his back. It turns out that I use it every bit as much as he does. I was worried about the drop-in into our RM-3 Monster rack, but it worked out perfectly with some space at the bottom to fully engage our trolley arms that we use on the outside of the rack. We really love the set-up and versatility. With regard to the belt, as a small woman (5’2, 115), the belt Rogue provides did not come close to fitting me. Thankfully, I have a belt that I’ve been using for weighted pull-ups that works perfectly for the rhino. I did notice some soreness in my obliques as I moved into the heavier weights, it wouldn’t have been as noticeable if not for my running which I think exacerbated it a bit. But that didn’t stop me from wanting to use the rhino and the soreness is subsiding as my body acclimates. Overall, long-term garage gym junky, and this is some of the best gear that I’ve ever owned.

Multifunctional
the drop in rhino is extremely versatile especially when built as the Coop rack. Thats where the real value comes in on this machine. Rogue needs to sell that as a kit and build off of it.

Great product
I am a veteran with my back is service connected. Meaning wearing all that heavy gear caused disc issues and nerve issues that I am stuck with forever. Ive had to stop back squatting and I rely on leg presses and other machines for adding leg strength and size. The rhino has allowed me to squat again or at least a version of the squat. And believe it or not it decompresses my spine and discs every time I use it. My chiropractor noticed the difference and I feel the difference. I have WAY less nerve pain shooting down my legs since belt squatting. With or without back issues its a great workout. If you have back problems its a must have.

So much more than a belt squat
I'm very happy with it! I got the drop-in version and installed it in my RM-6 rack. Setup/installation took probably 4 hours with 2 people. This thing is massive. The rhino horn alone (the largest piece) is over 100lbs and a bit awkward to carry, so I recommend having a friend with you to help put it together. It's a lot of work, do this on a rest day. Install was mostly smooth except for a couple issues with pieces fitting together, we used a mallet to slam a couple pieces in. That being necessary was a bit disappointing, and made the setup a much longer process. In the end everything was fine. Now for the best parts: yes it's a great belt squat. But what I really like is all the other movements you can do with it. You can also use it as a low or high cable as well! Get your self some cable handles (I like the Spud Inc handles) plus a tricep strap. Then for setting up a high cable, grab the Spud Inc econo pulley and attach it to a pull up bar above the Rhino. You can use the band pegs on the horn also to add some really interesting resistance to cable movements. Overall very happy with it and enjoying all the new movements it's added to my home gym.
