Rogue Monster Landmine 2.0
Increase Your Explosiveness

Compatible exclusively with Rogue’s Monster Series rigs, racks, and squat stands, the fully redesigned Monster Landmine 2.0 offers athletes a dynamic weapon for developing rotational stability and explosive, core-to-extremity power transfers.

This compact accessory mounts easily to a 3x3” upright using our quick and secure Monster Knurled Knob. Once set up, the user can insert a standard Olympic bar into the landmine’s 10" long DOM steel pivot sleeve—creating a stable, upright barbell station for a wide range of rotational training exercises, including: landmine rows, landmine press, standing barbell Russian twist, bent over rows, push press, push jerks, cleans, and deadlifts.

The Monster Landmine 2.0 is Made in the USA and equipped with bronze bushings and a machined aluminum joint for smoother, quieter, more fluid movements. If you already own a Monster rig/rack/stand, this is an essential addition to a serious rotational power training program.

Important: The Monster Knurled Knob does NOT have a locking feature, and thus should be checked prior to each use. The knob could potentially be loosened more quickly under dynamic movements.

Version 2.0 of the Monster Landmine comes standard with one of our Monster Knurled Knobs. This knob includes an acetal insert to protect the finish of your upright, and its quick-attach design allows the user to easily remove and/or change the location of the Landmine; ideal for racks utilized by multiple athletes.

Additional new elements with this design include a machined aluminum joint (with a black Cerakote finish and negative-space "ROGUE" branding) and a 1” solid steel mounting axle. The aluminum block is held in place via a machined shaft collar and a knurled spacer. Bronze bushings at both the axle-to-joint connection and sleeve-tube-to-joint connection create a smoother, quieter, more fluid movement of the unit as you train. The knob, spacer, shaft collar and axle are all finished in Black Zinc, while the 2” diameter sleeve tube has an MG Black powder coat finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Now this is a landmine!!! Definitely a bit more in price than other companies but the quality of this attachment is second to none. If you're on the fence between this and a slightly cheaper one from another brand...DONT DO IT. You will not regret adding this to your rack. This thing is a beast!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly What I Expected Purchased this for my RML folding squat rack. The landmine option that comes available for Monster Lite racks is totally different and under-engineered in my opinion. Not quite sure the reason for the disparity between both models. To accommodate the 1' bolt on this Monster 2.0 I had a contractor buddy of mine use a magnetic drill with a 1 1/16' bit to bore out one of the holes in the post. The hardware fits perfect and now I can enjoy the perks of this landmine model on my rack. I recommend anyone stuck making a decision do the same and pay a little extra to have a machine shop retrofit your RML post.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredibly smooth High quality and incredibly smooth landmine. Ridiculously overbuilt. Love it. The inside of the landmine is smooth paint (same as the Monster racks) so I don't think this will scratch the bar sleeves, but only time will tell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Landline is solid and well made Bought landmine for my power rack. Easily connects to power rack. I like the swivel that allows you to adjust your bar at an angle that works for you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from solid fabrication with significant design flaws The fabrication on this is typical Rogue - slightly overbuilt and beautiful to look at. There are a couple of significant design flaws in the piece, though, that I think Rogue should address in what would maybe end up being a complete redesign: 1. The hinge points are backwards than I think they should be, which limits the implementation/use. As currently designed, the initial hinge point at the rack is for the pitch angle - the dominant movement in the landmine - and the secondary hinge point on the barbell side is for yaw - used in this case for slight changes in yaw position while pressing or pulling with the landmine. The problem is that if you need to swing your barbell significantly to the side - like say 50 degrees or more - because of the relative orientation of the two hinges you won't be able to get a purely planar pitch motion out of the assembly when doing any movements. If Rogue swapped places with these two hinge points (yaw being closer to the rack, pitch being closer to the barbell), you would be able to swing the barbell +/- 90 degrees in either direction and still get a purely planar motion out of the device. This would require a different mounting scheme for the landmine, which is why I say it would require a complete redesign (and likely not gonna happen). 2. The way the spacer (between the swivel part of the landmine and your rack) rotationally locks to the pin/bolt is not great - it's just a set screw on the knurled spacer that tightens down onto on overside flat on the bolt. This allows the knurled spacer to inevitable slide towards the swivel part of the landmine and increase friction against the part that's supposed to be moving with the barbell. If you tighten down the knurled nut against your rack too much, I've found it squeezes all of this assembly together way too much and really restricts movement of the landmine. There are multiple ways Rogue could address this - add a through hole and pin to the knurled spacer + bolt assembly to keep everything in the same place always, reduce the size of the flat so that it doesn't allow the spacer to slide towards the brass bushings on the swivel part of the landmine, or add a snap ring to the bolt to keep the spacer in the right place. As is, I would still recommend this to anyone because you can work around these items. I would just like to see the improvements for the sake of usability.
