Consists of a 1" diameter threaded pin and 1.9" OD machined Acetal plastic sheath. Acetal is a high-end thermoplastic material noted for its light weight, low-friction, and wear-resistant qualities. It offers a unique combination of strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability beyond that of traditional plastic coatings, not to mention a more consistent, uniform appearance. We've also included (2) Acetal Washers that sandwich each side of the upright to keep the powder-coat protected from any damage.

Customers can choose between our standard Keyhole Pin, which features a machined nut with a special nub designed to fit the keyhole of our Monster racks; or a Keyless variation, which is designed to fit the keyholes AND the standard 1” holes of a Monster rack. Both versions are made to ensure a tight fit that won’t allow sagging or spinning even when the post is fully loaded.

The storage pin comes standard with a machined nut that goes through the threaded end of the post, on the opposite side of the upright from where the plates are stored. Users can tighten this nut with one of our 1" Monster Wrenches (these wrenches come standard with our Monster Racks but can also be Purchased a la carte). As an alternative, customers can also opt to purchase our new Monster Knurled Knob, which enables the adjustment of the post’s height WITHOUT the need of a wrench or other tools. Available as a single or a pair, this patent pending machined knob includes an acetal insert on one side (to protect the customer’s uprights) and a knurled outside surface with a black zinc finish. It measures 2.125" in diameter, weighs 0.57 LBS, and is compatible ONLY with our 1" threaded pins (or 1" hardware).
