Rogue HD Concrete Anchors
Compatible with any Rogue rig or rack, our HD Concrete Anchors are the best option we have found for bolting a unit securely to the ground. Traditional concrete wedge-style anchors are a pain to use—once you sink the anchor in the ground, grinding it off is the only way to remove it. Mangle the thread on a traditional anchor and you can forget about screwing on the nut.
By contrast, our removable HD Concrete Anchor acts like a screw. Drill a 3/8" pilot hole with a masonry bit (a hammer drill helps here!) and you can drive the HD Concrete Anchor into the ground with a 9/16" socket. The result, as one customer put it, “is a squat rack (or rig) that feels like it was built as part of your house.”
Better still, if you want to move the anchored rack or rig at a later time, you can simply unbolt the anchor, drill another pilot hole and bolt your rack back down. It’s a simple solution for both dependable stability and long-term convenience.
See the video at the top of the page for a step-by-step guide to attaching your rack/rig to concrete.
Please Note: Customers bolting on top of stall mats or rubber flooring may need longer anchors depending on the thickness of the flooring. Another option would be to cut the flooring out where the footplate is to get ample length of anchor into the ground.
