I was expecting this strap to have zero stretch. However it is very stretchy. I hated the stretch at first but after using it for a month I love it.

Bought to get a slightly better stretch than a cotton or theraband-type band can give. I did not realize it would be so amazing!! First - it has grip - which is essential for getting really deep stretching in - and not slipping off. Second - it has various loops sewn in at different intervals - which means my shoe can go into the hole and stay put even better - plus having so many interval loops means it really works for so many different stretches. Third - it is really long - I am 5'10 and length is longer than most standard stretch bands. Finally - it has a tiny bit of stretch in it - that means I can keep my foot and my grip in place and just use that tiny bit of extra stretch to go just a little further/deeper - without resetting everything else. I am ordering a second one so that I can keep one in my gym bag and one next to the bed. I stretch at night before going to bed and before I get out of bed in the mornings - especially the day after legs. Sorry this is long - but you need to understand how great this thing is!!!!

While a bit overpriced, this is a quality stretch assist band. It is made of good quality materials and appears well stitched. The 10 separate loops makes it very versatile for a wide range of stretching options. It has a lot of stretch to it which can be both positive and somewhat negative as well. The stretch does enable the loops to fit over shoes, boots, and provide a variable range of stretching. The only downside of it having so much stretch is that it is a bit tricky to be consistent with your stretching, especially if one leg needs more attention than the other. A part of me thinks I am nuts for investing over $30 in a stretch band, but a few months later it's not like my bank account notices it. It is a solid piece of equipment that definitely has a place within a "mobility kit".
