Handle adjustments can be made quickly from one athlete to the next using the Rogue patented knurled knob. The 1-3/8” diameter handles provide 18” of usable length, and they’re available in two finish options: Stainless Steel or our Proprietary Matte Black. Convenient knurl marks appear every 6” along each handle to help the user find and repeat a comfortable starting position from workout to workout. We have also included protective UHMW on all contacting surfaces to help protect both the attachment and the rack upright (this protection still applies when the UDA is in “storage mode”).

1

Designed in Partnership with Mutant Metals

The Ultimate Dip Attachment was first developed by Mutant Metals, a family owned and operated manufacturer of quality strength training equipment, based in western Pennsylvania. Rogue was pleased to work with Mutant Metals on adapting our own versions of this accessory, which are manufactured here in Columbus with their blessing.

Removable Handles - 3 Width Options

The UDA creates an instant dip station on an existing 3x3” Monster or Monster Lite rack/rig, attaching securely via an included pin (1” for the Monster version, 5/8” for the Monster Lite). The attachment’s 1-3/8” diameter handles can also be removed and placed in one of three holes, then secured quickly using the Rogue patented knurled knob . This creates three handle width options with their own grip spacing ranges: Narrow (11.5” - 20”), Mid (15” - 24”), and Wide (19” - 27.5”). The handles will remain at the same 30-degree angle in relation to one another no matter where they are positioned.

Handle Knurling + 2 Finish Options

All UDA handles have 18” of usable length and are knurled for a superior grip, with convenient knurl marks provided every 6” to help athletes repeat comfortable starting grip positions. Customers can select between a Stainless Steel handle finish or our Proprietary Matte Black finish, which utilizes a process that effectively transforms the surface of the steel rather than coating it, greatly increasing the handles’ long-term corrosion resistance and color endurance. Additional frame colorways will be available in the future.

Quality Rogue Construction

Rogue has made some notable adaptations to the original Mutant Metals UDA design, including the use of a single-piece formed and welded tube; reinforcement of the frame with a tubular triangle gusset; and the introduction of a Rogue patented knurled knob for set-up with an integrated protective plastic washer. All welded joints are also slotted/tabbed prior to welding for additional structural strength. Tight tolerances are enforced to ensure a more snug fit on the upright. Every Ultimate Dip Attachment we manufacture is fully built out and tested, with modifications made to any that don’t meet the tightness requirements.

The best dip attachment I've ever used
This is a fantastic upgrade from the Matador - which always felt a little lower quality for a rogue product. I have big hands but never liked to diameter of the Matador, the smaller handles on this unit make dips much more comfortable. I don't think I'll use the multiple widths too much but the removable handles makes storage much easier. This unit is also much smaller and if you're space constrainted I highly recommend it.

Best dip attachment bar none
I have the original UDA and use it every week - I love that thing ! It stores out of the way easily and performs when you need it to. Easier to maneuver than the Matador, I suspect.

Overbuilt But Not Too Heavy
Dips are feeling great on the UDA! It stores nicely behind a rack and can be quickly deployed. Glad I went with the UDA over the Velocidor given the UDA is 25 pounds lighter. The UDA still has a overbuilt feel to it without the excess weight. Would love to see more Mutant Metals / Rogue collaborations in the future.

Dipping Delight
Three years ago, I injured my shoulders doing dips incorrectly and I told myself I would no longer conduct that movement. Fast forward to this spring with the “controversy” over UDA between Rogue and Mutant Metals bringing attention to dip exercises and I considered reintroducing dips into my exercise routine, being careful to use better form. I was very pleased to see Rogue and Mutant Metals collaborate to produce this awesome rack attachment. The unit is extremely well built. The welds are buttery smooth and the stainless knurled handles are perfect. Because of its light weight, the UDA is easy to set up and move around the gym making it a convenient tool to use frequently. This is a situation where everyone wins, Rogue, Mutant Metals, and more importantly, the customer.

Great dip attachment
The Rogue Mutant Metals dip attachment is a great dip bar. I went with it over the Velocidor as the Mutant Metals dip bar is much lighter and easier to move around. The handles feel the right size and the knurling is solid. It takes about ten seconds to adjust the handles using the knurled knobs. The medium setting is the same as the Matador width and the close-grip setting is a triceps killer. It stores easily on an upright via the built-in storage design. I’ve only had it a few days and I love it already.
