KEY FEATURES OF THE ROGUE MONSTER LITE COMPETITION BENCH

QUALITY ROGUE CONSTRUCTION
1

QUALITY ROGUE CONSTRUCTION

Made in the USA, the Monster Lite Competition Bench introduces a new patented Rogue design, featuring 3x3” 11-gauge steel tubing (as well as 3/8" & 1/4” flat plate where necessary), finished in MG Black with bright zinc hardware. The uprights are spaced 43” apart and a set of Monster Lite J-cups are provided for the convenient racking of any standard barbell. Well suited to a small garage gym or a large high school / college / pro weight room, the bench is both heavy-duty (158 LBS) and compact (57.75” height, 53.5" x 49.5" footprint).

NUMBERED HOLES + WESTSIDE SPACING
2

NUMBERED HOLES + WESTSIDE SPACING

The short uprights of the Comp Bench feature the same Westside hole spacing and laser-cut numbering as our standard 108” Monster Lite uprights, allowing for an assortment of add-ons and customization options. We’ve also designed these uprights with holes along the sides (6” on-center) and Rogue-branded plastic top caps.

REINFORCED STABILITY
3

REINFORCED STABILITY

We’ve included durable rubber feet on the unit’s base tubes and front foot, promoting greater stability for the entire bench as you train. Rather than having to bolt the unit to the floor, the feet safely stick and grip in place, preventing movement/sliding and keeping your gym floors protected.

Love it!!
I’ve had it for about two weeks now, no issues at all! Super sturdy and well made, it was very easy to put together took about 45 mins by myself. I don’t understand the bad reviews, it’s a well made simple weight bench!
Yes, I recommend this product

Can’t recommend, unstable and unsafe uprights
I’ve had this bench for almost two years and over time the uprights have become progressively looser despite regular tightening of the bolts. It’s impossible to line them up so the bar is consistently straight on the setup and the re-rack is a crash/drop injury waiting to happen.

We're sorry to hear of this issue with your bench and are sending you new crossmembers now that will alleviate the movement you are seeing.

Excellent bench
Debated between this one and the Monster variant. Decided on this one due to the cost and couldn’t be happier. If you have a better set of jcups however, I’d recommend using those for this bench since the ones it comes with offer no protection to the uprights and will scratch them up really well. (Use uhmw tape if you don’t have another set) Other than that the bench is exceptionally stable and well worth the cost. Super easy setup and has had no shifting during heavy bench sets on the rerack.

Can't Recommend
Bought this a month ago, been used 3-4x a week since then. I'm painfully disappointed in the design and quality of this piece of equipment. The paint is rubbing off on the uprights near the j cups where the plates occasionally contact it during racking and lift off. The j cups are awkwardly long and the way the bench is mounted to the frame causes about half of it to be behind the j cups and about 1/4th of it to be behind the the uprights. This causes a significant mount of the bench to be unusable due to the bar hitting the bottom of the j cups. This in turn causes setting up to be practically impossible. To make this bench better, you have to spend more money. Can't recommend to anyone because of this, seems you get what you pay for despite Rogue boasting about their "quality."
