This thing is great for pull-ups, but I use it for Tricep cable pulldowns as well. Works the forearms and triceps. Cable curls too. A real good piece of equipment.

This is more of a grip/ hand/ fingers trainer, because that will give out first. I use this in a pull-up/chin up routine and this will give you Popeye forearm strength. Great for training grip or Ninja course. Great implement! Very well make.

I thought I had very good grip strength until I tried the dog bone. I was shocked at how weak my wide grip was. It’s taking a lot of work with “the bone” to get it good. !!

Bought this on a whim, and now it's the centerpiece of my pull-up workouts. Very good for grip strength and forearms. After a few weeks with this I was able to close a Captains of Crush gripper I hadn't closed in years (and without training CoC, specifically). Would definitely recommend. Get ready for some strange looks, but well worth it.

but that's a good thing. I find I use the center more than the ends but working up to it. It's bigger in real life than it looks in the photo, you can get your hands over the center section.

I love using the Dog Bone for pull-ups, timed holds, pulldowns and deadlifts using loading pin. Excellent for your grip without a doubt!

I've added this into my pullup routine between regular pullups and neutral grip. This thing is a beast and I can attribute the increase in grip strength to this killer implement. I just hook it to a chain I have suspended in the garage gym that I use for my heavy bag and get after it. I was only able to pull myself up with this by doing single. Constant use of it has increased my grip strength and I can hang from it and do 7-8 pullups on it at a time. Great product!

My son and the other varsity football players that work out with him thinks it's a great piece of hardware because it's challenging.
