D-Balls can be used for standard medicine ball training (wall ball throws, medball push-ups, trunk twists, squats, sit-ups, presses, etc.) as well as movements not recommended with traditional medballs, including overhead medicine ball slams. The gel-filled feel of the D-Ball combines with a durable rubber shell and soft textured grip to produce a hybrid slamball/medball optimized for both speed and power. Because of the ball’s deadbounce design, athletes can slam aggressively but still get the training benefit of picking the ball off the floor each time.

As with our standard Rogue Medballs, we offer a wide variety of weight increments for the D-Balls but very little fluctuation in diameter, maintaining a consistency in feel as you move up to higher weights. There are 9 available D-Ball sizes, categorized into 3 classes: Keystone Speed Ball (8LB and 10LB / 9” dia.); Keystone Strength Ball (12LB, 16LB, 20LB, 25LB / 9” dia.); and Super Ball (30LB, 35LB, 40LB / 10.6” dia.). This creates a broad range of options for athletes of any size and skill level, as well as any type of medball or slamball movement (a 30LB slamball, for example, is one of the more common standards in many WODs).
