Product Description

The Rogue CB-1 is for serious lifters that need more from their posterior chain.

It's rackable so athletes can train with any of our power racks, squat stands or Rigs. The bar is farther in front of the midline, placing the emphasis on the hamstrings and the lower back. It allows the upper body to stay vertical, training proper form to get max depth and explosiveness through a full range of motion. This means that you can get stronger, fast, while better preparing your body for safe, effective training under any type of bar.

Heavy chunk o offset metal
82 #! Box came trashed, some dings and dangits from the rough trip, cost as much to ship as half the bar price, the logo came off after the first lift, blah-bu-blah - who cares? You’ll scrape it up from your 1st rack and bumping this heavy thing around in your cage! So pleased I made this investment. It makes a back squat feel a little more like a front squat. I use it on standing press (because I have a low ceiling and the plates hit with a straight bar) and bench as well. On any lift it forces you to have a steady path otherwise it swings around a little bit with the plates hanging low. Love it folks, buy one!

Less knee pain when squatting
I agree with the other reviews in that this bar is very well made and the paint does not peel or scratch and the shipping was quick. However, the greatest advantage to this bar is that it reduced anterior knee pain during squats (in fact I did not feel any) and allowed me to squat deeper with a more upright torso. Traditional barbell squats have caused anterior knee pain for me for the past 10 years and my mobility is limited by a left ankle anterior impingement. So, I am so grateful that I can make squats a regular part of my routine again.

Top of the line
As usual, rogue outdid themselves with this bar. It is incredible, very heavy-duty and I see no reason why my great-great grandchildren won't be training with it! It will last forever.

Fantastic bar
Couldn't be happier. Use this in my home gym so being able to rack the bar in my power rack is important. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a chambered bar for their home gym.

Great Way to Squat
I had purchased this bar a few months back and have been using it a lot in my powerlifting training. I definitely prefer it for box squats and I like using it as another variation for regular squats. I haven't had any problems yet of the paint chipping off so I'm very happy about that. The Rogue name sticker is peeling off but that's minor. The powder coating is really nice and very grippy. I am very happy with this and would definitely recommend getting it.

Glad I bought this bar!
I bought this bar a couple years ago and it's still going strong. As with all Rogue products, this Camber Bar is built with precision and convenience; meaning, the sleeves allowing me to use standard 2" bar collars is wonderful. While there's a learning curve for those who have never used this type bar, the design makes finding a comfortable position easy (at least as easy as squatting with a cambered bar can be). I like the option of grabbing the lower portion of the bar, or using the sides. The bar is heavy, but is well balanced and built to take a beating. I feel this bar has been a great addition to my gym and works in conjunction with other specialty bars for squats, good mornings, zerchers, etc. And the fact that my clients hate using this makes me love this bar even more. :-) For those of you on the fence about this bar, go for it. You'll be happy you did; especially after you've blown past those sticking points keeping your squats and deadlifts hovering at the same weight for too long.
